As soon as S-E reveals more info,screen shots,gameplay etc...it will no doubt cr8 a big fuzz from FF fans then MS will see it and thats wer the "exclusive" ends.

A 360 version will release with the PS3 version day and date for sure because I said so. TBH I wish it happens because Nomura magic needs to be witnessed by as many people as possible and being multi-plat will do that. The only reason I would like for it to stay exclusive would be so I could see what SE can so when pushing a game technically as they have done with so many other consoles but not really a good trade off.

I do wonder if there will be a meltdown though, won't be as big as the one where DQ X moves onto a handheld but it should be decent in size.

Well after what happened to FFXIII (very unexpected) I cannot say no. Depends on Nomura and SE. If they want more sale they should go multiplat. I dont care if FF Versus XIII exclusive or not as long it is not X360 exclusive (of course not).

"For playstation 3 only worldwide" is a much more bold statement than "for playstation 3". Its almost unthinkable for them to betray that statement.

Nomura is the director of Versus XIII.

He didn't want FFXIII on 360 and has said it will work with just one platform with Versus XIII.

So... Versus XIII is PS3 eclusive.

There is no more excuses. Ps3 is now $299. Who really wants to play Final Fantasy Versus XIII will buy a PS3. Back in 2008, PS3 future was a bit clouded, Square was afraid of that. Now PS3 is outselling X360 worlwide since Slim launch. Imagine Final Fantasy Versus XIII launch. So i repeat, there is no more excuses.

If Versus is expected to be released in late 2010, then I doubt we will see a 360 version seeing as all the development of the game is based on PS3 code so far and it's likely that SE would wait to see how the 360 version sold in the west to see if it was worthwhile doing a version.

But FFXIII doesn't come out until the end of March in the West, so that's another 3/4 months of PS3 development time and seeing as the 360 version of FFXIII was announced at E3 2008 around 20 months before the Western release of the game, seeing as Versus XIII is still PS3 exclusive means to me that unless Versus is nearly 2 years away from being released, it won't appear on the 360...straight away if at all.

Add to this, what kind of sales will the 360 version of FFXIII get anyway, and would it warrant a multiplatform release for Versus XIII?

Looking as sales of FFXII, there are approximately just over 3m sales in NA and Others on the PS2 on a much higher install base...and if FFXIII was to sell a similar number it would more and likely be split between the 360 and PS3...so the 360 could end up with less than 1m in sales.
