Thanks! That's a good review and it makes me want the game even more. I think you're right though; this will be a love it or hate it game. But if it's half as good as Indigo Prophecy then I, for one, am going to absolutely love it.
i know people with ps3s not getting mag cuz its only online like warhawk.
looks interesting though

My thoughts exactly. Definitely would like to play HR and try a new experience. If MAG is still going strong (support and hype wise) after its been release and some price drops then i'd pick it up cheap. |
From what I've been told, MAG won't see any price drop as it is already gonna be cheap. The cost of buying the software will cover the server costs. To put it in perspective, it's like buying 'rise of the lich king' for world of warcraft but then, not having to pay a monthly fee. If it was to even be considered to drop the price of the MAG title, then it would be a dent on the efforts to sustain server costs.
I am a Gamer... I play games and not consoles. I have a PC and Console on which I game... I like games. End of Story!
@cgi - no way sony releases gran turismo during summer. They will save it for the holidays or late fall to combat HALO REACH. At least that would be the smart thing to do IMO

Do you know what AAA mean??
@CGI - Yeah true ....but summer is the slowest time of year. IMO a great way to counteract the halo reach hype would be with GT5 hype. I think it would successfully mute the halo effect
MSG4 released during the summer and did very well, but I wonder if it would have have done even better with a holiday release.

I highly doubt that. MS would drown out GT5 with the Halo: Reach ad campaign. If anything putting GT5 in the holidaywould hurt its sales because of all the other games people would want. In the summer, everyone who wants GT5 can and will get it without any competition. It would make a very nice boost for them in a slow time.

That's what I'm thinking. Nothing can really outhype Halo:Reach me thinks. Probably safer for GT5 to be the big summer blockbuster instead.
