The comments in this thread by PS3 owners continually validates my disdain for them and Sony.
In one voice, they claim superiority over all other consoles and in the next voice they blame developers when the PS3's weaknesses are exposed.

Hideo Kamiya has created Devil May Cry, Okami and Viewtiful Joe. He is not a lazy developer.

lulz i dislike him also, my favorite editor is def. Ryan Clements...Chris Roper is good too, they are not afraid to bash even theyre own favorite games, thats what being an editor is all about, giving the truth to the people who read.

Have you played the Bayonetta demo on PS3 and 360?  There's barely any difference and the load times arent that different unless you're like completely impatient, so if the full game is like the demo then its really not that big of a deal and the score shouldnt have been that different.  Unless the demo was made better than the the full game then i cant say anything about that.

Regardless its just one reviewer, and hasnt stopped me from my decision of day one purchase for this game on my PS3.

I don't see the big deal here. PS3 only owners get a worse version than x360 only owners. If you only own a PS3, I'm sure you'll enjoy it just fine. I would prefer using the ps3 controller for an action game, but you can't have it all.

Ps3 owners who are constantly finger pointing at "lazy developers" whether it be Valve or other devs need to stfu. thanks.

Kind of an aside, but what did Sony change in the North American release? Did that story turn out to be false?

it was a demo, not the full game,a part of it. if both famitsu and ign say theres a difference then there def. is....thats not to say the game sucks on the ps3, but you can never say they are equal, because they arent. i hate it when dev. are too lazy to port over and makes equals it makes me angry because people who are paying the same price for the game get a lesser exp., but hey, what can we gamerz do right?

This comment is wrong on so many levels that i wont even make a list of he games vastly better on ps3, i wont make a list of devs saying time and time again that the ps3 is stronger, i wont compare xbox Exclusives to PS3 exclusives, no but all i will say is that do you really think bayonetta could not have been better on the ps3 then in its current state?

WHEN you say "of course it could have been better" then that will completely negate your whole whole sentence and prove that ps3's so called "weakness" has absolutely nothing to do with this game not being up to par with the xbox version. it is100% on the devs. now if it was because of a dead line or a money issue thats another story.

I actually feel the same way.  I perfer the PS3 controller for action games.  The game probably would not have ran so bad compared to the 360 version if the PS3 had more memory.

lol yea we cant really do much but enjoy what comes to us.  Fully agree there are some differences between the 2 versions and that the PS3 is the inferior version, however Famitsu's score are more close than IGN's.  So either one reviewer is being generous or the other is being harsh.  We'll never really know til we actually buy it, but from the demo of both versions, i feel Famitsu's score was more accurate than of IGN's.  Oh wells.  Just shows to never trust any reviews except your own lol... and yea..lazy ports..what can you do eh lol

Gamekult : PS3 = 8/10 (Very good) and their only true gripe are the loading times

X360 version is better, SLIGHTLY better
