I hope they do not spoil the entire game for us! I wonder how Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be incorporated into people lives?

Geoff: On average, Super Mario Galaxy 2 has been played for 29 minutes for each person that owns a Wii! It has only been out since the start of the day!

Why would they release the game on a Sunday? That seems like a horrible day to launch.

I have found a way to import the game from usa.
If all goes right I'll be able to import it with just a few more money than in usa
andif all goes right I'll have it in a week or 2

and (hopefully) I'll be the first in my city to have it

Got it this morning, and I've gotten about 7 stars so far. Man, the new mechanic in level X is so freaking sweet. Going back to play now...

Don't Nintendo usually release most of their 1st part games on sundays in the US? I think it's sort of a tradition.

They do the same here in Europe, but on fridays (which makes a lot of sense, imo, right before the weekend. On sundays most of the shops are all closed here... but I guess that's different in the US).

World 3, Beat Block Galaxy, 42 stars.

I mean this game is so fucking amazing it's not even funny. Every level, and every star in every level is completely different and makes you play the game in a different way.

I got it right now and only have 4 stars. The game is really better than the first, in terms of gameplay mechanics. I died 4 times in the Galaxy where platforms flips...

It's fun that every inhabitant you encounter embarks on the Starship and follow the adventure with you. It's cool.

The backgrounds are mesmerizing. The music is strongly inspired from Zelda I noticed.

The Spin-Dig Galaxy is my favorite so far. I have fun digging around without really have a goal in mind...

@ morenoingrato: poor you, you really miss something, the game is too awesome, deserves every bit of score given. It's less boring than the first, you don't have the time to be bored.
