Playing with Luigi is almost the same as playing as Mario, but I like when Luigi slides. It ramps up the challenge a little. 

I think they didn't have ideas about what giving wrong to that game apart from the story. We didn't see the end of the game so maybe there's something interesting (Bowser's definite death)

Story isn't the point in Mario games! Complaining about the story in Mario games is like complaining about the lack of machine guns!

Well Nintendo usually consider the gameplay as the backbone of a game as opposed to the storyline.

I do agree that for of the biggest games this gen they should have TRIED to give a good story (TRIED because thry didn't)
