Well Chris Scullion from the Official Nintendo Magazine died multiple times. He said he had died at least 1 time in each galaxy.

And I only saw two lives.... the block and the Mushroom spaceship.

Spring Mario managed to satisfy me during my completion of my favourite galaxy: Toy Time. I hope a galaxy similar to Toy Time will be implemented into Super Mario Galaxy 2.

i thought Super Mario Galaxy was MUCH better than Mario 64, i felt it was much more polished with better controls and MUCH more innovative gameplay senarios and just a huge amount of charm all round

I think SMG2 will top SMG1 naturally since it's a sequel that will likely have improvements + it has Yoshi. not to mention all the new ideas for levels, my favourite idea up to now is the "fall forever" galaxy which really has me interested
