This is the two-player mode. The second player is able to control a Luma to help Mario.

You also have to feed the BIG purple Luma in order that he can give energy to the Starship.

The story:

After the White Luma sacrifices himself to rescue the Universe (end of SMG1) he comes back in the Mushroom Kingdom and fall from the sky. Mario rescue him (World 1-1 is World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros)

Peach invite him to celebrate the first year he has defeated Bowser... Bowser reappears!

Is this the real story?

Some French website such as Nintendo-Master or livewii.fr told so. We might see it soon. That's why I didn't change the storyline in the presentation page of the thread.

I hope so. That would be a very convenient and acceptable sorry.

I remember the Luma sacrifices himself. That would be a good sequel of the story if he falls off the skies.

I just realised where I have seen those two toads before...

:O

Original post from Trangentspree

Confirms my suspicions.

Great thread.

This game is only a matter of weeks away! WEEKS!

Videos have now been put up on the Japanese website showing basic Mario/Yoshi controls.

Yeah, with newer gameplay

                                       That's Gordon Freeman in "Real-Life"

Music is incredible.

Is that an orchestrated version of Mario 64 Bowser levels?
