No thats not true, there is company that act with great morals. You can compare that to any person, we all want to be rich right? But its not everyone that will be ok to lie or steal to earn money. Its exactly the same thing for the persons that work in a company. Some workers (hopefully directors) can have great morals even dreams, they will want to succeed but not at any price. Theres is companies that refuse to have workshop in china (mostly german companies). You also have companies that will keep on building quality products (because they are dedicated/ Miele, Bosch) even if they would make more money selling same features with less quality (samsung). It all depends of the mentality inside the enterprise and the persons that work for it. They all want to do better than their competitors that I agree with you, but there is things that some companies dont want to do or change even so.

Reminder: Im not judging which company beside sony and microsoft is better then the other.

Google for Ballmer google ipod and for Ballmer ipod amnesty bin and you'll see that he can be even dumber than that.

you can't be serious. The first one was a joke and the second one marketing for their zune. Everybody knew the zune was created to compete with the iPod. That was just PR.

Anyhow, the iPod Amnesty Bin was considered amusing, but not in the sense MS desired, and very pathetic as marketing effort (and Zune's appalling results, initial bugs and quirks and ugliness, despite the money and resources spent on it, didn't help)
