Dude if whats been said is true, then don't get your hopes up. 360s don't usually crash at all so the chances are somethings wrong with yours.

instead of throwing it away, you give it to a friend just to act like a good guy. while in reality you are just clearing space.

^ Getting someones hopes up then have everything fail is quite often worse than having anythign at all. Did your "friend" give you a reason why he needed a new 360 in the first place?

I didnt want to pay 100 bucks for the wireless doo hicky so I just paid 5 bucks for a 30 ft Ethernet cable.

I've run it behind the furniture and you cant see it.
