I've never considered it. My parents both smoked when I was younger, but they always did it outside and far away from us, preferring not to let us see them do it. We were the D.A.R.E. generation, I guess.

I've never considered it because I have an active fear of how easily I could become addicted - I have that sort of personality, and a history of different kinds of addiction in my family (or depression, or both I guess).

My mother ended up quitting and my father has cut back a whole lot. I hope he ends up quitting too.

If I ever did smoke, though, I would totally smoke out of a classy pipe like my great grandfather. If you're gonna smoke, you might as well look cool as possibl while you do so

i think thats why the hooka is an alternative. its kinda cool. i never have but i think it would be cool because the worm from alice in wonderland does it.

Pretty sure that was a caterpillar. Alice never smoked - even in Victorian England, it wasn't cool for little English girls to smoke

I certainly think it is a stupid activity, but I will not hate on the people that do it. I understand why people do it, but I disagree with why they do it (much like I do concerning the usage of drugs, alcohol, and such).
