Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Decade: A Tribute to great games from the last 10 years

Plat former: Super Princess Peach
This game was so cool, mixing plat forming with Peach's new abilities. I must have beat this game 12 times. PLus it has one of my favorite commercials of all time:

Warrior of Light #66

"I'm not illiterate, my parents were married!"

3DS FC: 2878 9589 2016

Around the Network

Turn based strategy:Advance Wars

All four are superb games, and I love the stylus controls in Dark Conflict.

RPG: Mario and Luigi: Bowsers' Inside Story
Golden Sun

Platform: Super Mario Galaxy

Adventure: Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime

I could go on.

Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn

These games blew me away! I hadn't had much interest in this genre before playing them and I hadn't been doing much gaming for a few years but these games single handedly reignited my passion.

Radiant Dawn's low Gameranking's score (sub 80%) is the greatest injustice dished out to any Wii game in my opinion. The story was incredibly involving and the surprises it serves you were very clever if you've played the first game. I have no idea why people complained about the difficulty, it felt easier to me that Path of Radiance.

In summary: These two games are definitely Some of Nintendo's best of the last decade. I see them as one unit because they essentially keep the same formula and the second's storyline really relies on you knowing the first.

Never quite understood that either. The only really difficult parts of the game are the first few Dawn Brigade chapters, before you get Volug, Jill, Zihark, and Tauroneo, the finale of the Elincia part was pretty hard, the 3rd chapter of the Greil Mercenaries part (chapter title was Stormclouds), the prologue to the 4th part, and the part 4 chapter where you subdue Izuka.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

JRPG:

Tales of Symphonia

Runners up: Baten Kaitos, Golden Sun I and II, Final Fantasy VI

In a genre where Nintendo fans were not praised with a lot of games back then, Namco took the effort and released a completely new game for the Gamecube, and many argue it is the best in the Tales series. The game gives you a nice storyline and great characters along with great gameplay of 50+ hours of balanced playtime, you are always eager to find out where to go next and fights are always challenging, but never frustrating or requiring hours of grinding.

Currently Playing: Skies of Arcadia Legends (GC), Dragon Quest IV (DS)

Last Game beaten: The Rub Rabbits(DS)
