5. Beatles Rock Band (Seriously? there have to be lots of games released in 2009 better than this)

4. Assassin's Creed II ( Can't complaiun about this AC II is gonna be in every top 5 list, but unlikely to ever be number 1)

3. Batman Arkham Assylum (I know! what would beat Uncharted 2 if not this?)

2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (They said average rating of 9.6/10, obviously basing this on metacritic and being about as near to perfection as a game can get...so why is it number 2 again?)

1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Seems it won because it was the biggest entertainment release of all time, and the gamer being put in the shoes of a terrorist thing, well they did say it had the most intense gaming experience of the year too, so that probably helped it win)
