Super Metroid is one of the BIGGEST reasons i love the Prime series so much. When i heard the remade Mirida theme in Echoes, i couldnt help but smile. SM brings you into the world unlike any Metroid before or after it.
Definatly one of the best games EVER made, and its right up there with OoT IMO.
