vavagbond I heard trying to change your location to chicago or something, it has something to do with steam servers being in different parts of the country so it will try to download off California or NY servers. I read it somewhere through CAG... forget how/what to do tho.

BTW this game Rocks. Easily the best Diablo clone to date as I didn't care much for Titan Quest (something about it was just off) and Sacred 2 (Great game, but doesn't 100% emulate the Diablo feeling this game has. Not to mention the music in this game? I think It's the same guy who did the Diablo music.)

I missed the sale, but I've currently been hooked on Titan Quest, had the game for awhile but never really gave it much play time.  Can't wait for Diablo 3. 

Would you recomend this game, never heard of it, didn't read much of the posts and too lazy to look it up atm (because I been drinkin).  Anywho, I'll grab it on my next paycheck if you all think that it is worth it.

I haven't played Titan Quest, so I'm not really sure what it's all about...

Torchlight is like Diablo I. Only with a modern interface. And no multiplayer.

If those words together does anything for you, just buy the game and allow yourself to become completely addicted. If they don't, avoid.

Simple as that.

It's like Killergran said, it's like Diablo 1 only with a modern make up, the challenge is still there and the atmosphere is superb xD

Yeah basically Diablo 1 in a sense but a bit beefed up. Apparently It's almost identical to Fate (One of the creators who made that also made this game with Diablo's co-creator) so if you played that you'll get the jist.

I just think It's a shame they aren't releasing the MMORPG?M ultiplayer version for another two years because by then I think Diablo 3 will make me forget about It's existence.

But in the mean time this is the best drug to tide me over till Diablo 3 is out. Again, I didn't care much for Titan Quest and Sacred 2 was decent but this is a really good game.

Kind of an aside, but Titan Quest is a good diablo clone as well. LAN Co-op is a lot of fun. Titan Quest Gold (Titan Quest + Expansion) is on for $9.99, I wouldn't hesitate to pick it up for that price. Easily 30 hours for one playthrough.

Titan quest sucks like no one's business.  THQ couldn't make a decent Diablo clone if their lives depended on it.

Torchlight is a blast though.  It's easily worth the price.

To each his own. I'd recommend it (especially with Immortal Throne) so long as you have someone to co-op with. I quite enjoyed my playthroughs on LAN, but i know a few Diablo fans who apparantly like yourself hate it. Oh well, there's a demo on steam that's worth a go.
