Sony has had the ff franchise in the chokehold for some time but now that it is on the 360 my question is how will it sell? The release in Japan has already cleared 1mil with ease and no doubt NA and others will give the PS3 version a bump. Does anyone think the 360 version could hit 1mil on the box? Did Square-Enix waste their time on the 360?

Off topic (already!), I'm actually afraid of FF13. I enjoyed FF7, but last night I saw FF8 on the PSN. I was actually afraid to play that game! It was too tough!! Plus, it changed things a lot. Then, I realised that aside from FFVll, the only games in the franchise that I've truly loved since 97 are FF Tactics and FFX!!

My hype for Xlll diminished a little.

the 360 version will clear the 1 million mark. I just think the sales won't be as great as people once predicted when FFXIII was first announced for the 360.

I think think the only place where 360 and PS3 sales will be close is in the NA

Numbers around 2 mil are plausible...but it will also depend on the loyalty of the fan base to Sony and what Sony's install base is looking like. After all Sony is coming close to the 1:1 ratio mark.

The 360 version WorldWide wont sell more then FFXIII does in Japan alone
