I love 1-4 more than the wii SH but it still ok. If it didn't have motion controls then it would have been dumb.

Yes yes and yes. I have played every Silent Hill game and beaten all but 4 and I can easily say this was the one I enjoyed the most. Yes even more than 2. Though I can certainly see how some would prefer the puzzles in 2 since they are much harder. After Homecoming and Origins (the PSP one you're referring to) I also was pretty down about the series. Now I can't wait to see the sequel.

If you have ever enjoyed a Silent Hill game you owe it to yourself to give this game a shot.

Still have a friends copy of 2-4 but I sold my PS2 before ever playing any of them. I still have my Wii and just got Shattered Memories so honestly I think this is the best way for me to start with the series
