Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

its because most people cant tell between fact from opinion... but trolling is a different story.

you wouldn't have happened to have created an alt earlier this morning, have ya?

OT: I disagree, although I never ever praise a game I really like, or talk about it like it's the next best thing after slice bread, I think everyone has a right to their opinion. If you don't want to hear it, don't read it as soon as you see where the post is leading. Like what I do :D

At the same time, there are those who hate a big game simply because everybody else likes it.

"What? You guys like Batman AA? That game is for baby penguins. Real gamers don't like that mainstream crap. They like Adventure on the Atari 2600."

It's okay to not like what everybody else likes, but you don't have to be a douche about it.

I think you guys miss the point
I mean if someone states an normal opinion about some random game and gets attack for stating that he doesn't like it. "this would explain the angry mob in my title"

No, Kirby. You WILL conform to popular opinion. We will bend you to our will.

Well how about you stop making pretentious antagonising negative comments and participate in a thread of a game that you actually like?

Like we really need everyone that doesn't like a game, leaving "I don't like this game" comments. How much attention do you need?
