Final Fantasy will be the best JRPG and will sell well but as far as quality and truer RPG elements are concerned Mass Effect 2 all the way.:)

Final Fantasy will be the best JRPG and will sell well but as far as quality and truer RPG elements are concerned Mass Effect 2 all the way.:)

At the end of the day, we can always play both. That way, both games win.

Of course we know the issue of quality will be subjective. According to many, it's also a field where it's rarely lacked....


Quality can be subjective, yes, as in 'eye of the beholder' beauty. Theres also objective quality which is based upon value in its genre and what it offers above and beyond. It's no contest really in an objective sense. Thats where I am getting at. Final Fantasy is a big story which you just play out with the old RPG turn based system. Mass Effect 2 is much more than just that.

Diablo 3 wont outsell FFXIII if the PC pirates don't have anything to say about it. Blizzard better keep that game under close watch like they do with WOW so they can expect return.

At the end of the day, we can always play both. That way, both games win.


I wouldn't have it any other way, but when a game like Mass Effect has so much with its arsenal compared to the first game, gamers really do win.

Mass effect 2 will be one of my favorite games ever,the only games that will challange it next year in WRPGs if released are,the next elder scrolls game and fallout new vegas.For me Fallout new vegas will be awsome but it wont beat ME 2
