PS3 will easily sell over 1 million next week with FFXIII launch in Japan.
PS3 outsold 360 by over 170k for the week. Total sales gap under 6 million.

They already got a $100 gift card deal at walmart not too long ago, and they got one last year too (when I bought my PS3). It pushed a lot of units.

The X360 got the deal this year




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Hmmmm.....interesting, wasn't aware of this. Well, I guess it helped out after all.

oopss. sorry, the X360 got the $100 one recently. However, I did buy my PS3 with a $100 gift card last year. Looks like my memory is going down the drain and I'm only 25

Great number for the PS3... but the Wii... damn. Thats a lot of Money in 1 week for Ninty.

So 1m high over the course of 3 months isn't too bad. Either way, overtracking in the past doesn't mean that VGChartz is overtracking now. Also, 1.5m is less than the 1.7m they did last year (at the peak), so again, it doesn't really mean it is overtracked. Ultimately I'm surprised by 1.5m, but it isn't out of the realm of possibility.
