Sony PR sent email out explained it. PD posted official press explained it.
You chose to ignore those words.
It does say it's a GT5 demo in game but you pretty much ignored everything why they toned down the graphic and keep the download small.

great demo dude, gt5 is a most definite buy for me OMG !
Being a gamer, I understand the position of the demo. As a person well versed in the thoughts of the retarded masses, this could be a big miss step. I personally do not get why they realeased this thing in the shape it is in. The slow down at times is rediculous, and i've played it on my original 60GB, and the new slim in my bedroom. This makes me dissapointed in Polyphony.
