very very bad demo. Makes me not want to by the game. Hope its because of the size that they cut everything out but i got say. Bad Graphics, bad driving, bad damage,  bad everything. Lets hope the real game is much better.

How can the damage be bad....when there is none?

@Sicilian.

This is not a GT5 demo, it's a GT academy prepared version of the game. Heavily stripped down but with much improved physics over it's predecessors and probably all other racing and simulation games before it ;)

^ At AE101- Thats what i meant. Its bad damage cause there is no damage

At lestatdark. I wasn't aware. I thought when the demo started it said "this is a demo for the upcoming release GT5". I could be wrong though. But yeah i understand it was heavily striped down. I know the real game will blow us all away.

Did you manage to finish both the two Le mans 24 Hours and the Nurburgring 24 hours in GT4? Those were the best endurance races in the whole game xD I also hope that the full GT5 games has them as well

GT5 must feature thos races!!! IT MUST!!

Hehehe, i'm with you on that, those races are a must in GT5 :D 

I still remember the weekend I dedicated solely to finish my first 24 H endurance on Le Mans 1, I did it all in A-Spec mode, my thumbs were sore from all the racing xD

someone with access to the demo also received an email from Sony that wanted to emphasize this is not a demo of Gran Turismo 5, and is only being released for GT Academy. Polyphony Digital has also posted a new press release, clearly stating the demo was “specifically designed for this competition to showcase the realism of the brand-new physics engine” and nothing more. I don’t really know what to call this thing, but it looks like it won’t be the full-blown preview of GT5 that some were hoping for.

edit: oh lol, just got an email saying that this is ONLY for the GT Academy and not a demo from GT5 xD it doesn't serve as a preview or review (wow lol, review?) they also say that we should not capture videos from it

So why does it clearly state "This is the demo for the upcoming Gran Turismo 5" on the main screen? LOL@trying to find links to say it's NOT a demo, when it states it plain as day when you actually play it.
