lol @ the people that can't read and don't understand why the graphics are bad.


lol @ the people that are impressed by them (car looks somewhat good though, interior looks on par with NFS:Shift).



Anyways, I hope the full game has a better sense of speed and excitement.

On a random note, this is the first racer I've played that runs at 60fps - would be cool if there was an option to set it at 30fps.

but i am asking myself, how can you call forza3 damned and on the same time defend the GT5 academy time-trial demo - while you are supposed to own both consoles? you seem very biased to me =/.

 

the reason we compare those 2 games is very simple. we like forza 3 and want GT5 to be even better!

for someone who owns both consoles (my ps3 may be broken, but i will get myself another tomorrow!! ;D) comparing forza 3 to GT5 is like comparing UC1 to UC2!

 

the reason why the demo looks so underwhelming is because the track is just a test-track, not a polished one. the final game will feature much better looking tracks. if you want to see the difference a good looking track makes, watch the GamesCon videos.

the demo is very misleading graphic-wise. i hope sony will release another demo next year!

- defending sony-fans in a halo related topic. (a 360-guy was pissed because so many sony-guys came in and bitched about halo reach graphics and kept posting KZ2 pics and kept bitching bitching bitching - you replied to this guy by basically saying: sony-fans are allowed to [you just formulated it different, with a better sounding])

You are calling CGI  bias, lol

he's one of the nicest most unbias member in this site, he's almost toonice for my conern. He owns both consoles nd play them equally, he does have soft spot for the PS3, but he's honest with it.

Now, if you have a ps3 , go download the trial and post your score, if you don't , what the hell are doing in this thread?

...besides i believe the "damned" was less directed at Forza, but to the fact, that this is a Gran Turismo Thread, about a Gran Turismo time trial of the Gran Turismo Academy but somehow people need to jump in and make some sort of comparison where there is nothing to compare.

 

...and this "demo" looks bad for 2 reasons!

first: it is going to be downloaded by millions of people, a 2GB download would break the internet.

 

second: if it's a perfect example of a fantastic city track with damage and everything, it would be enough for people like me, who don't really care about racers but will get this for the sole reason to look at it and show off their Playstation :D!

 

now i still need to buy it :D

Does the demo also sometimes stop for a split second in the middle of a lap or the goal line for you or is that a problem with my hd again?

according to the average user :

physics : improved and godly
gfx : on par with GT5p ... more or less ... are they the final gfx ? is it du to the lmited size of the demo

EDIT : just made my first race 2.40 ... I m a killed ....... NAAb !

well, lot of bad texture and 2D stuff even on my eye ... = 200mb ...

Often happens when I reach a checkpoint.

CGI-quality is pretty popular here, isnt he?

i see now why it would be bad for a specific group of people here in the forums if someone like him loses his credibility.

defend him as much as you want, his bias is still obvious. =)
