It doesn't make sense really, shouldn't the PS3 and Wii both be ahead as they both had pretty large price cuts?

people forget that the both versions of the 360 are much cheaper than the ps3 in the uk. plus the 360 is getting some amazing deals atm here. 4 good games + elite for £199, bargain imo!

Yay XBox 360 outselling the PS3 in UK. It deserves its sales. PS3 will win Europe and Japan. US and UK are the places the 360 will outsell the PS3.
Keep the good XBox 360 deals coming. Natal and Halo:Reach are on the way for 2010.

This ignores the skew that many Wii purchasers simply won't search the internet at all due to demographics.

I think it's very unlikely the 360 is going to be more purchases - i.e. sought - this Christmas. The Wii is almost sure to remain the higher purchased and sought console for a gift.

Internet searches will skew to those who use the internet for shopping vs those going to closest Argos and buying a conole and therefore is only representative of a subset of purchasers.

It does bode well for 360 with that crowd though, although even there the Wii isn't far behind and is ahead of PS3, which is pretty telling IMHO.
