It took ages for wii to top 55 million after it topped 50 million but it didn't take long to top 65 million after topping 60 million, very good I'de say, do consoles still sell after Xmas? I suppose so. but if it does top 65 Million by 31st Dec then by golly, it will top 70 million around April or march if it sells well still.

Your projections seem pretty spot on. Consoles sell well in the west just after the Holidays, due to the sales and people having Christmas money to spend. Early January sales are at their strongest in Japan too. Then, about mid- January they settle down to normal sales patterns.

Well they will almost certainly both show a trailer and release an updated shipped figure at E3.

I think software numbers would go sky high for about a week or 2 in January but after it goes to normal levels, I agree.
