Exactly,  A console's GOTY should be exclusive for that console, IMO.

BS.. there's better titles out there that derserves it more. AC2 was just another game, nothing more nothing less. It's like giving The Saboteur or Brutal Legend the GOTY.

I would agree, cause in a point of view it feels that PS3 has the better game(s) since AC2 didnt win GOTY for PS3.  I think they should have an award for best multiplat game etc...

For exclusive L4D2 would win GOTY and MW2 for multiplat IMO.

Good choice. I would have gone for this or Batman. MW2 and ODST while huge sellers and good games really added very little to experiences that, frankly, were already available via Halo 3 and CoD4. Same goes for L4D2.

Forza 3 was very good, but I think today a driving game has little chance of being seen as a better game than something like AC2 or Batman.

So a good choice really.

Good. Assassin's Creed deserves a lot of respect.

I guess the choice would be between ODST and Fora 3 then, as they are the only full 360 exclusives really.  2009 was a rather lean year for full on exclusives for 360 I thought.  Plenty of strong console exclusives like L4D2, but that's a huge Steam title too.  2009 MS seemed more focused on exclusive DLC, building hype for Natal and securing strong budles/deals for November/December than pushing a steady stream of full 360 exclusives.  Next year will be much stronger I think.

Despite being a multiplat, AC2 was a well made game. As a PS3 owner, I think that is still a great game, especially after having played the 1st one to the end. The improvements were there in EVERY aspect, I wish the same could be said about Gears2 (I still think Gears 1 was better except maybe slightly graphically). Batman was also a VERY good game that didn't get the sales it truly deserved.

Don't forget Halo Wars! It was a really great game. The only console RTS I've ever enjoyed (I've heard great things about BFME 2 on consoles but I played it on PC).
