Why bother man? Honestly the situation reminds me of when a woman suffers from domestic abuse and everyone tells her to leave him and get someone "better" hehe. I personally wouldn't stand for it. Try out a Wii or a PS3 and see where that takes you, you can always turn around and sell them at ebay if you're not satisfied after a few months. For Wii I would recommend Masamune, No More Heroes, RE4, Metroid, Zelda. For PS3 I would recommend, Demon's Souls, Uncharted 1,2, LBP, MGS4, KZ2, Infamous, GOW collection (even if you already played the originals). As for coming exclusives GT5, MAG, Ar Tonelico3, The Last Rebellion, Heavy Rain, possibly FF VS XIII, Yakuza3, etc, etc.

My replacement 360 Pro manufacture date March 2006 just burned with the 3 red l ights. Microsoft are repairing under the warranty even though the original was bought in excess of 3 years ago.
Embarrassingly for me I was trying to show off instant on HD "Half Blood Prince" to my wife and skids when it ocurred. Had to get the kids Arcade to finish the film off. Instant on HD is bloody good red lights not so.

I have a PS3 already. Platform loyalty isn't the reason I'm rebuying. It's just for the games.

Truthfully I'd say just get a PS3, it might not be an option for you considering you can't pass up the 360 exclusives. But you should try a PS3 with games like Uncharted 1+ 2(Game of the Year), Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 1+2, Little Big Planet, Demon's Souls, Infamous, and many more. Not to mention upcoming games like God of War III, Heavy Rain, MAG, The Last Guardian, AGENT, and a few others I'm too lazy to type.
Not to mention you have already had 3 RRoDs and 1 DVD drive failure
2010 Hardware Sales Predictions
Wii: 20m- Sales will drop, but not by much.
PS3: 13.5m- It sold 12m in 2009, its only common sense it will sell more this year.
Xbox 360: 11m- It sold 11m in 2008 and 2009, I think it will sell the same.

Why do you have to make excuses to defend a product that you purchased, but that's the only connection you have to it, you don't make it, you don't lose or gain money on it. I don't see where all of the defensiveness comes in, there is no reason for you or anybody else to feel obligated to defend it. Now I would understand if one of you were a developer for the product and you slaved over said product only to hear somebody call it stupid or a piece of junk. But none of you developed it, none of you are mature enough to realize that. Choosing a product all comes down to preference, you chose said product because it is best for you. Simple as that!
Wow I just realized all that typing was pointless, haha you already have a PS3...Well get the games I mentioned, they won't disappoint you.

Yup haha. I have 100+ hour Demon's Souls character on the go as we speak. I'll probably grab UC2 before Christmas.

Move along troll the cnet survey was considered to small of a sample to be accurate and the newest research from a real sample was shown to be under 4%.
Sorry to hear about your 360. Get the Jasper, its much better. My friends got it and it runs extremely well and lacks half the noise you heard from the old Xboxes.
