I just got mine and although I usually let friends borrow some of my games I'm making an exception for this one. This game is bad ass and they're going to have to get their own.

Wow U2 sold amazing and deserves more sales.

This might be misconstrued as trolling but 600k from a 1st party title in any regards sounds like a flop to me. There ain't enough frosting in the world to make this cake any sweeter from Sony's perspective. I wonder how much money did it (Uncharted 2) cost to produce such high quality presentation?

Well, we don't know if that number is accurate, you'd have to know ACTUAL sales expectations before we can label something a "flop", and right now the game is about to cross 2 million, something that was laughed at just 2.5 months ago. |
I only said that number when compared to other 1st party and to a greater extent 3rd party offerings on competing platforms. 2m WW still seems to be lackluster amidst all the marketing hype and praise it obtained. I think this title will break 4m but that is going to be one very steep climb. Strong legs it will need.

1st bolded: Honestly, 600k for me is also dissapointing( I am only dissappointed in USA sales) but I won't call it a flop because I know that it will still sell and cross the 1 million mark. You also had to take note that it's only for one country (USA).
2nd: Someone is not reading the whole thread. I already provided a link. It cost approximately 20 million dollars.

@ It cost approximately 20 million dollars.
It was development costs, right? And his objection was that sales are not good enough for the marketing push and support which the title received, wasn't it? One can't possibly deny that hype was all over the world for this game and all over the 2009.

Gears of War?
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

Gears of War IP is NOT owned by Microsoft.
Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!
Kojima: Come out with Project S already!
