CGI is just happy there's a hole in the centre of the disc :p

Those are gorgeous screens. This game will be beautiful.

But I worry it won't appeal to the HD Console owners who demand fast-paced action. Even as a huge adventure game fan I lost all interest in this game when I saw QTEs featured so heavily in it. (I don't have a PS3 but my brother does) Also, probably no replay value so expect Used Games shelves to be stuffed full of Heavy Rains within days of it launching. I hope it succeeds but I'm not confident it will.

Well then you saw the wrong game,  cause Heavy Rain is not all QTEs.

LMAO, that's one of the funniest thing I heard here on this site.

But seriously the game looks great but from the pics I have seen, the gameplay doesnt look so good. I mean is this another boring animation movie or a really good looking video game?

According to a demonstration given to Edge magazine, the game will use a unique control scheme.[14] A trigger button on the PlayStation 3 controller will move the character forward. It will take advantage of the button's analogue function, allowing the user to control the speed of the character's movement by pressing harder or softer on the button. The left analogue stick will control the movement of the character's head and the direction the character moves in relation to where the character is looking. David Cage explains that this frees the movement of the character from the perspective of the camera. The rest of the game is played using a series of context sensitive actions such as picking up a bottle in a grocery store and hitting a robber on the head with it, and quick time events, normally for chase and combat sequences.

It not entirely QTEs, I'll edit my post, but it is QTE heavy and personally, I really hate QTEs.  I will not play a game where all the actions are QTEs.  I just wouldn't enjoy that in the slightest.  I love adventure games because they are cerebral and relaxing.  To me QTEs have no business being in an 'adventure' game.   But that's my personal taste and no reflection on the gaming community as a whole.

@CGI-Quality - I didn't realize the game had multiple endings.   I did stop following it some time ago for the above reason.  My bad.

Even fixing your post it is wrong,  the majority of the game is investigative work which would be walking up to people or items and investigating them.   There is no QTEs in that,  and that is the majority of the game.

How can you determine game play from a picture? lol...

I was able to do it with MW2, SSBB, Halo 3 and even FFXIII...you know pics that are showing gameplay...

Anyway I also have seen some gameplay trailers on youtube too. This reminds me a lot of SEGA-CD. Amazing graphics for the time with boring or no gameplay.
