Forums - Sony - Sharing PSN DLC: how do you do it?

So, when you downlad a game or other DLC you are allowed to put it on to up to 5 other PS3s. We all know this. But what I don't know is how you actually do it. I thought I could just log in to my PSN on the other person's PS3, go to the PS Store pull up my downloads list and then download them on to their PS3. But it didn't work

I did a bit of googling and this is some info I found. Not from official sources though, my hasty search didn't pull up any official playstation how to guide.

1. You need to create a user on the other PS3, and then log in to your PSN on that PS3 under this new user.

2. It doesn't work with online multiplayer games, i.e. you can't both play the online multiplayer game at the same time.

3. Warhawk has particular restrictions, do they apply to all PSN games?

Is this right? what else is there to this sharing DLC business that one needs to know? If you have 4 user accounts on your own PS3 does that mean you can only share with one other separate PS3?

My own thoughts are that, if you do share DLC by logging in to PSN on someone elses PS3 you should change your password after having done this, even if you trust the other person with your life.

Yep, you can only activate your account on 4 other PS3's so far as I know.

All you do it create a new user on their PS3, sign up for PSN, choose existing account, log-in, then go to downloads in the top right corner of the PS Store, the click and download. You can go back to your profile then once the downloads have been activated and they will continue to download.

You can download map-packs or small to medium PSN games (Fat Princess and COD map packs for example). Larger games like Wipeout it won't allow you. (For obvious profit reasons.)

I think in this case of Warhawk you might be able too, but then you're restriced in that one PS3 cannot play for 24 hours after the other player logs out, or something.
