Hey, so I'm buying a 360 and I need some game recommendations. I love me some JRPGs and shmups, and I like shooters (although I have been getting tired of shooters lately), so recommend me some games that I may like. Oh, almost forgot to mention, I'm not going to get on Live so please don't recommend me shooters that the multiplayer would be really fun yet the campaign is not good. Here are the games that I'm picking up within the first week (hopefully):

-Raiden IV

-Raiden Fighters Aces

-Dead Rising

-Lost Odyssey

-Gears 1 and 2 (or I'll probably borrow it from my friends)

-Star Ocean: Till the end of time (Or I might wait for the PS3 version, not sure yet)

-Crackdown (depends if I find it for cheap)

You could try Blue Dragon, which is from Mistwalker who also did Lost Odyssey.

Get Mass Effect. It's the best RPG for the 360 imo.

Oh, and dare I suggest Halo 3 or ODST? The campaigns are pretty fun.

If you like WRPGs you should get Mass Effect, my brother loved it to death. Fable II is probably also a good call if you enjoy WRPGs.

Besides those, I don't know really. You already have Gears and Lost Odyssey on your list, and those were the games I was going to suggest :D

It is a shmup that is region free from Japan exclusive on 360. You could get it at Play Asia.
