Definitely a big leap above Halo 3.  It won't be a graphics king by any means but it still will be one of the best games this gen for sure!

holy sh*t!!! That skull on that helmet isn't painted but carved out. I wouldn't have noticed that unless the screens were still.

If this game has scale, by this I mean huge battlefields like from the first few seconds in the trailer (with explosions and troops everywhere), and can sustain at least 30 fps, it will be a great achievement for Bungie and gaming in general methinks.

If it sticks really close to the novel then this will be the best Halo game yet.

Bet he would have been pissed off if he recieved a upgraded suit with an energy shield. No more carvy..

why did anyone say its not ingame? it is cutscenes made from the ingame engine, obviously.

Halo can never be the graphical king... it's scope is way to massive... but the idea of 5 player co-op with all spartans... I'm there... I see the partical and lighting systems are in effect but the terrain deformation isn't there yet... also anyone noticed the tire not spinning?

Put it this way. For Halo fans like me, we all know being the graphic king wont matter, gameplay prevails and they havent failed on the fun. Graphically it looks great, but we'll see when gameplay is shown. Preety sure itll look better than ODST and 3 tho. Lets not forget the Reach multiplayer. Cant wait.
