Guys, I have a couple problems. First, I’m having some extreme discomfort in my genital region. Second, I just spilled Coca Cola all over my cat which is now experiencing severe convulsions due to a Coca Cola allergy. I don’t think my genitals or convulsing cat can be helped, but perhaps we can talk about this… THE GODDAMN NUMBER RATING SYSTEM!!! (capslock uninitiated)
I think you know what I’m talking about, summing up a game in one, convenient, lazy score. It just brings my blood to a boil! Look at Metacritic, Gameranking, every credible review website, and Edge magazine; they all fall for this shallow system of putting numbers up instead of putting full emphasis on the words and thoughts in said review.
It is my opinion that vgchartz should get rid of the numbers and only put up the words!!! (Except, of course, the reviewer is writing in binary code)
I’m not gonna say anymore because this is a moot point. I have made a thread for discussion and a poll for voting.
