i play them casually, if there good, for example i hate Call of Duty games... yeah  fps is not my number 1 genre .. its always adventure platformers, sports, and 3rd person action games..... i have call of duty modern warfare on my ps3, i gave it a chance but its just boring

It's the multi - player. They can get addictive.

its fun, competitive, rewarding (as far as video games go), addictive, etc.

Yeah the stories are basic at best but the gameplay is intense.

Hi guys, thanks for the reply. I did try FPS..first on HALO then Killzone2 demo.....but the aiming part was the most frustrating for me.....too fast pace and it feel so empty.....half a time i got no idea what i'm doing lol....and it give me motion sickness.....:D

they are easy to get in to, full of action and sate the human desire for conflict with each other.

I think it's a culture thing, they also seem too be quite easy too get into and very 'pick up and play' which is quite important for a lot of people, Particularly in america.

Yeh right.. if I'd want to do that I'd do it IRL.. its much better..

They are rather casual - straight forward gameplay. And the online multiplayer is also a big part of it.
