awesome! call me ignorant. i have read many posts that suggest that few people enjoy their wii. common, this thing is lame. lol! be honest to yourself. one of the appeals of the wii is that it re-releases past successes in a new box. ya, how about all those fat people that think it is a gym membership. only to let it sit there and collect dust while they stuff their faces with pizza and mcdonalds. get real. good for nintendo, bad for the gaming community.

Whatever you want to tell yourself. Please note though, that I as do many long time gamers, enjoy the Wii the MOST out of all the consoles. Please also note than I have all three consoles.

really, i would have bought the wii but it is a waste of money. my friend went to europe so i borrowed his wii and only played old turbo grafx games. everyone i have spoken to that owns a wii takes it with a grain of salt. the truth is that seldom do people not related to this site enjoy the wii.

and i bet ive spoken with just as many if not more that enjoy the wii just as much if not more than the other systems. and i only know one person on this site irl. so, the truth is. you and your clique/associates are not the voice of gaming and the near 50% userbase of the wii is.

there have been re-releases on the ps3 as well, ... God of War Collection?, MvsC2 for example

Let me give you a hint: the entire world doesn't revolve around h4rdc0r3 hd graffix n gunz

1. It launched at the lowest price ($350 cheaper then PS3)

2. It had all its great franchises out by 2007/early 2008 (PS3 doesn't even have a real GT game yet)

3. The motion control trend (notice I said trend, not fad..I'm learning not to troll)

4. Lots of positive media attention (Oprah, Ellen Degeneris, etc)

5. Expanded audience (old people, children, women, as well as core nintendo fans). PS360 failed to get into this audience.


That's how Nintendo sells so many consoles.

Considering every single top-selling PS360 game is a sequel, where as the Wii is the home of the best-selling new IP ever, I fail to see what you're getting at...?
