Forums - Gaming - Dantes Inferno pawns God of War?

I enjoyed it but it just felt like GoW1 with less combo's. [Haven't played part 2 yet] Even using fountains felt like opening chests in GoW. The story seemed interesting but not enough to pull my away from GoW's story.

I'll probably play Dante's Inferno at some point but I'm not paying 60$+ for it.

So you've never played any GoW, yet somehow know Dantes Inferno pawns it? I doubt DI will be as epic as GoW I was the first time I played it, but we'll see...

So its true then. Dantes Inferno

So its true then. Dantes Inferno < God of War, hands down? Does God of War have a solid story, or is it just a setup to justify killing everyone..? Do i actually have to play the first two games to be able to appreciate the third one.. story wise?

yes it does have a great story.

and yes you have to play the first two along with the psp one to know the full storyline
