If you love JRPGS I guess so, otherwise Magna Carta 2 was my pick this year for non WRPG.

Yes it's worth it. Would I pay full price for the game currently? No.

I want to note again that the voice acting was terrible. Good story line. Combat system IMO was amazing though. Great graphics. Long game with side quests!

Also to anyone stating that the Japanese voices will make it "bearable".... ugh who knows maybe the Japanese voices will be REALLY bad too!

It is worth buying, but I suggest you these games if you really like JRPGs:

and
Blue Dragon

Honestly, I can't recommend Star Ocean 4. That game was one of the biggest disappointments of the generation for me.

I have the PS3 version on pre-order, game is decent, not the best, but gets the job done.

It depends, if your a long time jRPG fan, have played the really good RPG on PS2 and PS1 (dragon quest 8, ff 10, xenosaga, suikoden 1,2,3,5, FF 7, Xenogears, star ocean...), lost odyssey and blue dragon are really sub par. You can easily miss them. Its actually the same point with Star Ocean, if you dont have any RPG to play and want to play one, its better than nothing.

If you have a 360 and dont have any RPG to play, get Tales of Vesperia

after the 6.0 gamespot score for blue dragon this game seems awful as for lost odyssey it feels like a common jrpg

and if this gen you are a real jrpg-lover you should play valkyria chronicles which is completely original and tales of vesperia
