Not really. Soldier is leading by 7.7% when on average there were just 4% more soldiers (i.e. almost twice the rate)... I think the previous statistics are not worth that much. People are playing the game differently now. Besides not all classes kill each other equally, there are obvious cases like spy/sniper, pyro/spy, and soldier/demo probably weren't even either before the war started. @SeriousWB: Yeah they just updated those, it's a daily update.

Twice the rate is to be expected.
Think about it. Soldier is played 4% more NORMALLY. However now that people are more motivated to play Soldier and Demoman... the difference is going to rise.
Though the Demoman is considered the best by "tournament" players. He's got a much steeper learning curve then Soldier... meaning the extra hours being put into Demo aren't going to be worth it nearly as much.
Honestly 7% is lower then I thought. I expect soldiers to win by about 10% overall.
