Forums - Nintendo - Eurogamer Sin and Punishment 2 review

Almost through the my imported release of the game. It really is a blast, and a nice change of pace from the kind of railgames the Wii is used to to. Not sure about the story, since I can't read Japanese. Its worth mentioning that the graphics are quite disappointing, but the gameplay is superb. Yes folks this game is very hard, but controls like a dream. Makes me want a new Panzer Dragoon game so bad!

I don't people go crazy on this because it is on-rails?

Everyone's hyped for this and somehow don't like reginleiv now it is on-rails...

oh come on, Wii Sports Resort swordplay is on-rails too...

It's not.

Damnit. it's doing that thing where i can't type outside the quote box again. Anyway. I thought it was partially on rails. You have nunchuk for free movement along the current field of battle, but ultimately you are shunted forward. It's not an open battlefield.

Or am i wrong?

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I don't consider this an on-rails game as you can move your character across the screen as well as your target. It strikes me as being a shoot 'em up.

Yes.

www.spacemag.org - contribute your stuff... satire, comics, ideas, debate, stupidy stupid etc.

THIS SHOULD HAVE RECIEVED A 13 OUT OF 10!!!!

ALL REVEIWERS ARE BIASED.

God I want this game now!!!
S&P is one of my fav N64 games and Treasure is one of the best action game devs.
I hope its MUCH harder than the first one which I beat way too many times :)

I may have to import if they make me wait much longer.
Thank you Treasure!!

Sweet. I planned on rental, but this convinces me of purchase. Now I just need a release date. Hopefully not January since I'm already getting Bayonetta and No More Heroes 2.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Hmm... meh. The original S&P was the single biggest disappointment in gaming ever, to me. The only game I ever regret buying. Shame on them if they fool me once, shame on me if they fool me twice. I won't fall for it again!

I wish I could be-friend you more than once.

Lylat Wars was also a huge let-down for me, but not so much as S&P

It doesn't move you forward since there are enemies behind you too.

Now, you don't know that :P

not so excited as i feel they were kinda lazy on the visual department (for an onrailed game), but still like the genre.if the reviews are strong, and theres some meaty replayability, im in(asuming its not coming in a crowded month).
