^ uh prettty much any computer has 2 gigs anymore... If your computer doesnt then just upgrade it. And if you dont want to upgrade it then you shouldnt expect to run the latest greates OS. Any computer in the last 2 years should be fine

I've been using 7 ever since the very first beta, about 2 years.

now that I am 100% used to it I can easily say it's the best ever made

i got it free too, msdn alliance,  i will wouln't rate over 6/10 , ram usage too high. while old game got a boost, new ones can't be even slower than vista.

it require 2gb and still have some incosistencies, with the UI.

It doesn't require 2GB.... Windows 7 will work on a 1GB system fine. (in fact didn't you say you installed it on your 1GB home PC earlier)

yep... had to add 1gb more. it was too slow. got 1.5gb more now, its faster.

My desktop is still with XP, but I got Win7 Ultimate on my netbook and it's quite nice.
Got the taskbar to its old looks though.
