this. you used to be decent (at best)... now for this, all you deserve is a ban for bad "jokes" or whatever...
Squilliam, with your thread you are only proving that every day is more and more complex to justify XBL price structure. Keep digging deep, maybe you'll find something.

The time it takes to get through 12 system updates, installing game demos, installing game patches which is greater than what it takes to do it on Xbox Live probably comes up to between 2-5 hours a year depending on what you're doing. Its not long enough to really effectively get up and do something else and not short enough that it wouldn't be a bother. Now you have to decide whether you'll base it on your salary rate or the time you'd charge for giving up your leisure time. If your time isn't worth anything then you probably get your games from your parents. But there you have it, PSN is probably more expensive than Live if you place a dollar value on your time.

This only works if you compare the time spending playing video games vs working, investing, etc. So far all the time I've spend playing games has produce exactly $0 for me. So time= money would mean playing video games is totally waste of time. When it comes to developing games then time=money really does apply.
Well in case you didn't notice when shuting down ps3 you can chcek the option to download and install and then shut down ps3.
Therefore gaming time wasted =0.
But of course you can add 5 hours*150W= 0,75kWh energy wasted to your Xboxlive savings :D
