Still, others, like “ferntfactor,” who commented at GameSpot, think this part of the game goes too far:

i just saw the video. there’s “a line”, and i think that line has been crossed with this inclusion. morally, there is an enormous difference between trained combatant vs. combatant and combatant vs. innocent civilians. so this is not just like D-Day or Pearl Harbor scenes. i realize this is reality, and yes, it happens in the world every day, but it’s cruel, gutless and sickening, and i think putting players behind the gun in this situation is going too far.

While reading negative stuff about Modern Warware 2 airport scene I come to wonder:

What is games moral or is there even such a thing?

Do they even need it since they are harmless amusement, entertainment?

Even in old days of gaming, Pac Man has shown that eat or be eaten.Strong wins, weak loses. There is no right or wrong, there is only survivor and loser..

So is this something amazing?

Even in sports, there is only 1 winner. But do you hear some politic bitching about its moral?

So ok I buy Modern Warware 2 and they give me gun and point what I need to shoot.

Why I shoot?Do I need reason to shoot in game?

Most times developers use war.If you don't shoot, he will shoot you.

In games like inFamous and Gta gamers can decide, what feels bad and what feels good and what you want to do in the game.

So gamers act on their own morale.

And while you are playing the game, does it matter to you that you win with fair play?

I want to win with fair play.If I for example notice some bug in boss fight I won't use it.

But I don't need games - or anything to tell me what is wrong and what is right.I wan't to decide my own. So if I play this Modern Warware 2 scene that makes you think what is wrong and what is right - I don't mind.

Take my love, take my land..

Around the Network

Epic failure.

Take my love, take my land..

I dunno TBH

Games have made me cry & feel upset (MGS3, MGS4, FF10 ending & a few others

but games where you "decide" things, usually WRPG's never tie me into the plot or characters that well, so I don't care what I do moraly

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

um to be honest i thought the museum in mw2 was so sadistic....to just go round trying weapons on people who coudnt fight back...
