Well Stated Andir, I wholeheartedly agree.  If you can play games where you don't have to worry about the system breaking everytime you turn it on more power to you.  You shouldn't bash W29 since he has purchased a PS3, be happy that he was able to experience with a 360 and make a decision for himself to purchase the PS3 beleiving it was the better purchase... That's his opinion and you guys should respect him, not bash him...  I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS A FANBOY SITE, but this thread does give ammunition to the people who say that it is a site for fanboys by bashing W29 cause he bought a PS3...  Just saying :)

I have mixed emotions about this considering I believe W29 (like leo-j) to be borderline... slow:

The good news is I no longer own the same console as him (until I buy a PS3 next year when games start coming out...damn).
The bad news is I probably can't get away with making fun of W29 quite as much now because it will be perceived as a console thing instead of a stupidity thing.

I'm half joking, half serious. Enjoy your new used PS3, W29.

THen you dont have any point ,as the PS3 has lots of good games .Resistance ,Motorstorm ,Oblivion ,Virtua Fighter 5 ,Super Stardust HD ,Tekken 5 Dark Ressurrection ,Skate ,NBA 2K8 ,NHL 2K8 ,Tiger Woods 08 ,Ninja Gaiden Sigma ,Heavenly Sword ,Warhawk ,Ratchet and Clank Size Matters ,Colin Mc Rae DIRT ,Sega Rally ,Stranglehold ,Guitar Hero III ,NBA Homecourt ,Fight Night Round 3 ,The Darkness ,Rainbow Six Vegas ,GRAW 2 ,Everydays Shooter ....for a first year it is a great lineup ( oh and dont start with the many of those are on the 360 too because if we dont count on the 360 the games that are as well on the PS3 the great lineup of the 360 becomes 3-4 FPS and Dead Rising and Viva Piñata ) . Congratulations to the new PS3 owner ,you have made a good purchase .

 O let the silliness continue! Ya know whas funny though! 18 of the 24 games you mentioned are on the 360! And one of them isn't on wither the 360 OR the PS3!!! Can ya spot which one?

 

ALl of these games are great and all but he wasted 100 of his own dollars and trading in a system he already had (which probably resulted in hium losing more money) needlessly sincce all of these great games you speak of happen to be on the 360 (o and guess what a lot of them like Rainbow Six Vegas, had better reviews on the 360, so sorry).

 

So when I sarcastically said two games (which wasn't so inaccurate, according to you) you managed to put me in my place by mentioning...............5 games total. Of which we are unable to check the qualioty because the only people to have actually bought the system are people who will blindly defend it with lack of said great games.

 

@Montana Hatchet - hahaha, best post ever!

 O and if I wanted to play a game like heavenly Sword, I'd pop in God of War 2, I have played Warhawk multiple times and that great triple A game experience you are telling me about is, like I said, a 25-30 dollar game aat best. If you don't believe me want me to get into technicalities?

Wow, you're a complete fool W29.

 

You trade in a 360 and all those games for a PS3 and 1 decent and 1 crappy game.

 

If you're going to get a PS3, get it late 2008, where it will be red hot. Right now, there is absolutely no point. Any remotely good games are getting delayed.
