Well, it seems a large number of people on here enjoy this manga so why not start a thread on it.

So for those of you that at least finished the anime and/or finished volume 13 in the manga

What was your reaction when you got to the eclipse?

I was just in utter shock at what happend, I mean after the anime you JUST have to contiune with the manga.

I watched the anime first and didn't start reading the manga until quite a while later. I remember being pissed that the anime ended like it did, and I couldn't stop reading the manga once I had started. It was just that awesome (though I was always a manga > anime person). I think I've read to the 33rd installment or something like that.

I don't think it was that big a shock to me though (still a shock, but not that big) because I had always been suspicious of Griffith. There was just something about him that I didn't like.

 kinda see where you are going with that, but I always knew he was a selfish bastard, but to that extent to sacrifice EVERYONE, I mean damn.

Oh yes, the manga is much better than the anime in every single way. I only wish Mirua would hurry up with new chapters already!

I like Guts. He's one of the most badass people ever. And that's before considering his upbringing, which just makes him that much more badass.

I couldn't stop reading Berserk once I got started. It was just too good.... on the other hand though, it took me three of four tries before I actually got started. The first times I put the manga down pretty quickly.

Yeah, the manga is pure awesome. Although the awesome did start to go down a bit when he got that new armor and that white piece of hair.

It actually gets a bit interesting from where you left off you are about 3/4ths way through that arc. The newest one just started. It's good to see things picking up again. Mirua though is taking his fricken time much to my dismay.

Yeah, the man is slow all right... :/
