na being really serious from what i have seen from alan wake i really aint impressed. I really dislike the combat in the game. But saying that they have months to tweak it and i am sure the will be more to it then just zapping a bunch of whatever they were supposed to be with a light source.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

I get the feeling it will be as good as (if not better) than Silent Hill 2.
Dead Space was a great action shooter but by no means can it be called survival horror. There was not a single decent scare in that entire game, mostly due to every monster screaming or making some noise to signal it's appearance. No subtlety whatsoever.

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

Patiently waiting for:  Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2

I think it is too early to tell. Remedy and MS seem to think they have something big. But, the project has changed a lot over time (Ex. gone from open world to more linear).

It looks interesting, but we need to see more... Trailers look decent but I think MS and Remedy are purposely hiding a lot... The in-game demos have all been from the same chapter, and the trailers have been very small glimpses of other parts.

Hope it turn out gr8 cause silent hill home comming is probly the most disappointing sequel IMO.

Most of the horror-games this gen were not that great. Alone in the dark was okay, but not more. Resident Evil 5 was fun, but not as horror-stylish as before.

I think Alan Wake could be a big push for the whole horror genre.

Curious since u love horror games and mention them all the time, what do u think of Resi in general and Resi 5 in particular?

I dont think AW will give us as much horror or reinvent the genre as much as some might think. I do however believe that the game will come with a fantastic story.

As far as Dead Space goes. I thought that game was very scary at times, but what made it shine was the gameplay and atmosphere. Something i hope they took with them in the making of Dantes Inferno.

For some reason I'm not surprised you don't find Alan Wake impressive.
