I think is plausible for the ps3 to sell 30million in NA. With decreasing production cost and price cuts. But this posibility is remote in europe, and impossible in Japan

so you are predicting PS3 would average 13+ mil per year for the next 3 years, Wii would average 10 mil per year and 360 would average less than 7 mil per year. A bit optmistic, wouldn't you say?
@OP: basically they got the numbers assuming PS3 and 360 would both peak in 2012 and Wii would continue declining at least 25% per year. Even with such assumption, Wii still comes up on top which shows how big a lead Wii has in NA up to this point.
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

These are best-case scenario statistics for both PS3 and 360. They don't think this will happen, they're saying that even if the 360 and PS3 have their best possible runs through the next 5 years, and the Wii has the worst possible run (all still within the realm of plausibility), this is how it will end up

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
EEDAR - Does anyone take them seriously??
Please can we just pretend they don't exist.
The fanboys at n4g give more accurate predictions.

Yeah. Year on year:
2010
Wii 16+ million
PS3 15+ million
360 9+ million
2011
Wii 11+ million
PS3 12+ million
360 7+ million
2012 (Wii HD)
Wii 7+ million
PS3 10+ million
360 5+ million

The negative sales graph has seemingly disappeared from the internet. I've been trying to find it. I'm sure somebody saved it to their PC and can upload somewhere though.
In an industry where certain executives see $60 million average budgets possible for the next gen, it doesn't surprise me that analysts would post predictions like these.

They're not saying this is going to happen. This is a best-case scenario for the HD twins and an absolute worst case for the Wii. It says so at the top of the second graph.
