lol, that's ok. I think it would be like .. £400? pretty good for a 42" and Xbox 360 elite, depends on the brand TV though.

Hahaha that right there made my day. I thank you! :D
OT: Id just buy a 360. The TV and Game isn't really all that and a bag of chips.
@superchunk
If you want to get the TV, get the TV. It's your money and you can do what the hell you want with it. Why try so hard defending yourself.
Yes, 720 HD TVs are being phased out and and google any reliable electronics site and you will find plasma uses a lot more electricity.
The EU are even considering a bill to outlaw plasma TV due to the energy consumption.
That's another reason most manufactuers are playing it cool on plasma.
@ justinian - I think they voted in march this year.. and it passed. And it goes active next spring or something like that. However, they didn't "outlaw" Plasma, but they passed a bill on energy consumption that forces current plasma manufacturers to significantly decrese the amount of energy the plasma TVs use at this point in time.
I heard plasma is on it's way out, so is DVD. Best buy deal seems better.
If it weren't a plasma, I'd be more likely to get it. The contrast ratio is really nice, I don't really care about 720p vs 1080p that much, and it's really cheap.
But it doesn't say anything about the response time, and it's plasma. Plasma. If only...

eh i guess thats a good deal but i gotta admit the PS3 deal is better. They need to get a good deal if they really want better sales
Long Live SHIO!
