They are very similar styles of games, but Lego Batman would probably appeal more to a child, especially as he probably hasn't seen any Indiana Jones

He saw Crystal Skull but said it was only very good if you were into aliens.

I can't believe some people are recommending Batman Arkham Asylum, that's a pretty intense and scary game for an 11 year old.
