what worked for me was to log out than log in and it worked fine, or just keep on trying it will sink eventually....the thing is it is really annoying and it makes it seem broken.

I read somewhere that this problem will persist until early next year when Sony plans to update the PSN with additional servers etc. Apparently they are prepping for a big update related to the stability of the network and also for MAG.
