I've now watched the whole thing. And while many of Pachter's predictions are a little crazy, he is the most unbiased when talking about the three consoles, the other two were obvious fanboys, but Pachter has well thought out arguments.

I didn't hate on him.  I only just reiterated his opinion nor did I even offer an opinion of my own.  Please read a bit more carefully.

No, he's going to hate on him because he had an opinion that was formed out of bias and ignorance.  Everyone has the right to an opinion; what they don't have is the right to voice stupid ones.

To call SMBWii a non "core game" is to call all 2D Mario games non "core games", and to call much of our gaming heritage non "core games".  And here I thought games that make up our gaming heritage would be the epitome of "core games" since they're kind of what long-time gamers played.

That is very true.  Yes, Pachter is getting ridiculous with his Wii HD trumpting but this is the second time on bonus round where he's had to point out that Nintendo is a victim of its own success.

That was totally worth watching just for that GT editor's nerd rage meltdown on Nintendo's lineup. It's been a while since I've heard that much anger and betrayal. Fun stuff.

^ Indirectly calling 2D Mario a casual game is going a bit too far though.

yet again, it's fun watching everyone in the industry in denial.
