Occasionally yes, its fun to see why they were banned and see the great reasons mods leave.

I usually don't look, but more recently I've been seeing a lot of bans and I just stated looking as of a week or so ago. 

I check em out when I see one because some mods get ban happy many of the times.

All the time. Though lately, there's been a lot of bans for posts that I don't think were very ban worthy. Tedsteriscool being one of them.

I think the first two bans are completely justifiable. In fact I was the one that reported PS3beats360 for that post. The third one I'm not sure about since I don't know the context from which it was said and I don't think you should have been banned for your post although you did use strong language.

I would much rather prefer the moderators be strict than for them to be lax and allow these forums to turn into an on going flame war which would definitely happen on a website like this that attracts so many fanboys.

First guy was borderline, second guy definitely deserved the ban (yeah, it's his opinion, but there are so many better ways he could've phrased it), and the third guy basically said "this game sucks" in a slightly subtler way, so that was warranted as well.  He added nothing to the discussion, instead simply becoming an annoyance to those that might actually be looking forward to the game.

Imagine somebody going into an a MGS4 thread back in early '08 and saying something along the lines of, "They shouldn't even localize such a crappy game."  You would've been pretty pissed, right?

As for your own ban, I probably wouldn't have banned you for that statement, though I may have asked you to edit your post.  That visualization is over and above some of the worst I've seen in OT.  It's not that you said "shit" or "piss".  It's what you were describing with such terms that's the problem.
